National Arthritis Month
May is National Arthritis Month. As the most common cause of disability and chronic pain in the United States, these diseases are of major concern to chiropractors. However, the large number of different types of arthritis makes it easy for people to get confused about them, which is why we at the Catalina Medical Center in Redondo Beach wanted to provide this basic guide. The term arthritis is used to describe joint disease. Osteoarthritis is the result of the cartilage in bones wearing away over time and mostly occurs in older people, particularly those who have subjected their bodies to a lot of mechanical stress for a long time.
